How to calculate my CBD dosage
CBD products generally include information on how much is in a single serving. For example, the packaging of our CBD gummies indicates there’s 30 mg of CBD per gummy. The same goes for a bottle of CBD oil, as it should specify how much CBD is in a drop.
Some CBD oils come with the total amount of CBD in the bottle and not per single drop.
For example, a 10ml bottle of CBD oil can indicate a total of 1,000 mg of CBD in the bottle.
How can you figure out how many mg of CBD are in that bottle?
If 1 single drop= 0.05ml
A 10ml bottle divided by 0.05ml of drops = 200 drops of oil in that bottle.
And 1000mg of CBD divided by the number of drops (200) = 5 mg of CBD per drop.
This way you know how much CBD you’re getting and start taking around 4 drops to get 20mg of CBD.
Is it possible to overdose on CBD?
CBD is generally safe for everyone. With researchers concluding that 600 mg per day seems to be safe for human consumption. It has also been debated that doses of up to 1,500 mg a day are generally safe and tolerated well.
The probability of overdosing on CBD is very limited and extremely unlikely. An average male of 180lb can overdose on CBD by taking more than 33 tablespoons of CBD oil.
